Team+Spirit was an internal newspaper for French-Belgian bank, Dexia to help employees understand and feel part of the Group as a whole while it went through a period of expansion and change.
The newspaper required a strong graphic identity as a focal concept for a unified approach to internal communications across the Group.
We introduced a plus symbol to the ‘Team + Spirit’ name, creating a fresh, positive logotype for the newspaper. The plus symbol was also utilised as a subtle gridded pattern behind pull quotes and across images.
We created a modern, legible newspaper, which is inviting to read and relevant to all employees. The graphic concept was developed in close consultation with editorial and production staff from several countries. We supervised production of the first issue and produced design guidelines to help ensure the newspaper remains consistent over subsequent issues.
